Publication Ethics

PUBLICATION ETHICS

Social Impact Report Journal (SIRJ) is a peer-reviewed journal that 
follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) on 
publication ethics regarding research cases and publication misconduct. 
The journal does not tolerate any form of unethical conduct or plagiarism 
of any scale.

1. For Authors
- Authors affirm that the material has not been previously published.
 
- Authors must ensure the originality of their work and properly cite 
  the work of others according to the reference format.
- Authors must not engage in plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
- Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one 
  journal simultaneously.
- Authorship must be limited to those who have made a 
  significant contribution to the research.
- Authors must provide the editor with data and work details if there is 
  suspicion of data falsification or fabrication.

2. For Editors
- Editors may accept, reject, or request modifications to a manuscript 
  based on review reports from the editorial review board.
- Editors are responsible for every article published in SIRJ.
- Editors must evaluate manuscripts objectively, regardless of 
  the authors' nationality, ethnicity, political beliefs, race, religion, gender, 
  seniority, or institutional affiliation.
- Editors and all staff must ensure the confidentiality of submitted 
  manuscripts.

3. For Reviewers
- Reviewers must comment on ethical questions and possible 
  research and publication misconduct.
- Reviewers will complete their work in a timely manner and must notify 
  the editor if they are unable to complete the work.
- Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript.
- Reviewers must not agree to review a manuscript where there is a 
  potential conflict of interest.
