PUBLICATION GUIDELINES
Article Publication Workflow at SIRJ
1. MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION
Authors register and submit their manuscript through the OJS system at sic-journal.com. The manuscript must comply with SIRJ's focus, scope, and author guidelines.
2. DESK REVIEW
The editor performs an initial check covering:
- Relevance of the topic to the journal's focus and scope
- Completeness of manuscript components
- Plagiarism check using Turnitin (maximum 15%)
3. DOUBLE-BLIND PEER REVIEW
Manuscripts that pass the desk review are sent anonymously to at least 2 (two) peer reviewers. The review process takes a maximum of 2 weeks. Peer reviewers provide one of the following recommendations:
- Accepted without revision
- Accepted with minor revision
- Accepted with major revision
- Rejected
4. MANUSCRIPT REVISION
Authors revise the manuscript according to the peer reviewers' comments and resubmit the revised manuscript within the specified deadline.
5. EDITORIAL DECISION
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on the peer reviewers' recommendations. The decision is sent to the author by email.
6. FINAL CHECK & PROOFREADING
Accepted manuscripts undergo a final check covering formatting, grammar, and reference consistency according to APA Style 6th Edition.
7. PUBLICATION
The article is published online at sic-journal.com according to the publication schedule:
- Vol. X No. 1 – October
- Vol. X No. 2 – January
- Vol. X No. 3 – April
- Vol. X No. 4 – July
